Job summary

US Anesthesia Partners seeks a Regional Director – Quality to lead and advance the clinical quality program across platforms. You will collaborate with physician leadership, support clinician education, and coordinate enterprise quality initiatives to improve patient safety and clinical outcomes.

The role requires strong data interpretation skills, governance experience, and the ability to influence across multiple sites and stakeholders in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the platform's clinical quality program in collaboration with physician leadership.
• Support implementation of local and enterprise quality initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical quality and patient safety.
• Coordinate platform participation in enterprise quality initiatives.
• Manage the case review process with the local Clinical Quality Committee (CQC).
• Reviews unexpected clinical outcomes, referrals, trends and other quality concerns.
• Conducts reviews of clinical events and recommends opportunities for system or practice improvement.
• Escalates issues through governance pathways as appropriate.
• Facilitates development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives.
• Shares best practices across platforms.
• Develops and coordinates clinician education from quality initiatives and patient safety activities.
• Orients new clinicians to the platform’s quality program.
• Supports development and review of clinical protocols and guidelines with physician leadership.
• Reviews patient satisfaction feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partners with data analytics to define quality reporting needs and dashboards.
• Identifies data-informed opportunities for improvement with CQC.
• Supports the platform CQC.
• Partners with facility quality/physician leaders to advance quality initiatives including representation on facility quality committees.
• Coordinates quality reporting required by facility and payor contracts and regulatory agencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
