Job summary

Charleston Area Medical Center seeks a Regional Director of Quality Management System to lead the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of our entity-wide QMS across hospitals and ambulatory settings.

In this role you will collaborate with executive and facility quality teams to standardize policies, monitor performance metrics, drive regulatory readiness, and promote high reliability and patient safety throughout the system.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality management in healthcare networks.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and accreditation.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and performance improvement methodologies.
• Ability to develop and implement system-wide policies and governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Coordinate with executive and facility leaders to standardize QMS practices across hospitals and ambulatory sites.
• Monitor quality metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators to drive improvement.
• Lead policy governance, review committees, and ensure regulatory readiness and alignment with priorities.
• Guide regional leadership in corrective action planning and implementation.
