IHG Hotels & Resorts in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Regional Director – Conversions, Essentials and Suites to lead a team responsible for hotel renovation and conversion projects from assessment through completion. You will provide strategic oversight, people leadership, and technical direction to ensure PIP, brand standards, life safety, ADA, and franchise obligations are met.

Responsibilities include on-site design and construction oversight, budget stewardship from $500k to $30M+, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 7–10+ years in design/architecture/construction/renovation in hospitality
• Leadership/portfolio management experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Knowledge of brand standards, ADA and Life Safety requirements
• Ability to read blueprints and prepare renovation documents

Responsabilités

• Lead PIP site visits and assessments across hotels
• Oversee on-site design and construction to meet PIP standards
• Manage travel budgets and cost controls
• Engage with Development teams and owners pre-FAC reviews
• Escalate complex ownership/scope/compliance matters
• Monitor project milestones and ensure timely completion
• Coordinate schedules and liaise with franchisees, design professionals, and contractors
• Maintain PIP Tracking systems and digital library
• Lead special projects to improve processes and efficiency
• Coach team members on reports and communications
• Develop franchisee/owner relationships and manage escalations
• Oversee portfolio health across territories and risk management
