Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Regional Director to lead the Vaughan office across all disciplines, steering growth, profitability and staff development within the Nashville market. You will oversee day-to-day work, ensure proposals and contracts are in place, manage budgets and monthly revenue, and drive business development and client relationships through strategic networking.

Required: 15+ years in architecture/interior design, leadership experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and preferably a Licensed

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Architecture and/or Interior Design.
• Experience leading a studio/office or team.
• Proposals and business development experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• Licensed Architect strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day work and team members for the office.
• Ensure proposals and contracts are in place.
• Oversee budget reports, revenue projections & monthly financials; prepare monthly business reports.
• Market and promote obtaining new work; attend business development/networking events.
• Prepare an annual Strategic Plan and Mind Map for the office.
• Lead diversification services initiatives and CRM activities.
• Pursue project opportunities; collaborate with marketing on pursuits.

The Regional Director is a key member of the Ware Malcomb senior management team, responsible for leading the Vaughan office across all disciplines. You will be responsible for the growth, revenue, profitability, staff management and client relationships for the Nashville market. This includes nurturing a positive, team-oriented environment, ensuring financial goals and deadlines are being met, and driving growth through networking / business development.

Your Role

• Responsible for day-to-day management of work and team members for the office.
• Overall responsibility for having all proposals and contracts in place.
• Responsible for the group’s organizational chart, project budget reports, review of monthly project revenue projections & monthly financials and the preparation of monthly business reports.
• Consistently market and promote getting new work for Ware Malcomb to grow the office. Attend business development/networking functions.
• Prepare an annual Strategic Plan and Mind Map for your office.
• Show measurable attainment of Ware Malcomb Diversification Services.
• Utilize Ware Malcomb’s CRM system to track all Business Development activities.
• Leads strategy for project pursuits, collaborating with the marketing team.
• Communication, collaboration and positive relationship building with Ware Malcomb leadership company wide.
• Create and lead a positive, team orientated environment.
• Partner with internal Talent Acquisition team to hire new team members.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience within the field of Architecture and/or Interior Design
• Prior experience leading a team, studio or office
• Proposals and business development experience
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships market
• Licensed Architect strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• Ability to lead and foster a positive team environment
