Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Regional Director to lead the Nashville office across all disciplines, driving growth, profitability and client relationships. You will oversee staff, budgets and strategic planning while promoting a collaborative, team‑oriented culture.

The role requires extensive experience in interior design/architecture, proven leadership, and a strong BD skill set. This is a full‑time, long‑term position located in Nashville with hands‑on management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in interior design and/or architecture.
• Experience leading a studio, team or office.
• Proposals and business development experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships in the market.
• Licensed Architect strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day management of the Nashville office and staff.
• Ensure all proposals and contracts are in place for projects.
• Maintain the group’s organizational chart, project budgets, revenue projections and monthly reports.
• Market and promote new work; attend business development/networking events.
• Prepare an annual Strategic Plan and Mind Map for the office.
• Drive diversification services and client engagement initiatives.
• Utilize the CRM system to track BD activities and outcomes.
• Lead project pursuits in collaboration with marketing.
• Foster positive leadership relationships across Ware Malcomb.”

TheRegional Director is a key member of the Ware Malcomb senior management team, responsible for leading the Nashville office across all disciplines. You will be responsible for the growth, revenue, profitability, staff management and client relationships for the Nashville market. This includes nurturing a positive, team-oriented environment, ensuring financial goals and deadlines are being met, and driving growth through networking / business development.

Your Role

• Responsible for day-to-day management of work and team members for the office.
• Overall responsibility for having all proposals and contracts in place.
• Responsible for the group’s organizational chart, project budget reports, review of monthly project revenue projections & monthly financials and the preparation of monthly business reports.
• Consistently market and promote getting new work for Ware Malcomb to grow the office. Attend business development/networking functions.
• Prepare an annual Strategic Plan and Mind Map for your office.
• Show measurable attainment of Ware Malcomb Diversification Services.
• Utilize Ware Malcomb’s CRM system to track all Business Development activities.
• Leads strategy for project pursuits, collaborating with the marketing team.
• Communication, collaboration and positive relationship building with Ware Malcomb leadership company wide.
• Create and lead a positive, team orientated environment.
• Partner with internal Talent Acquisition team to hire new team members.

Qualifications
