Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Ten years of comprehensive retail operations experience.
• Five years of supervisory/management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Strong leadership and financial acumen; merchandising knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company culture and promote a positive work environment.
• Responds to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, and associates.
• Develop talent pipelines and succession plans within retail.
• Review profit and loss statements and monitor factors contributing to profitability.
• Train store directors to read, understand and use the information to improve retail operations.
• Enforces and follows government requirements, health and safety codes, inspection standards and company policies.
• Directs the activities of Store Directors and may direct other associates and/or activities.
• Plans, assigns, and guides the work of the store management team; execute merchandising and operational plans.
• Ensure positive customer experience.
• Develop department budget and monitor department goals.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best Retail Merchandising practices; make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.
