Restaurant Associates in New York seeks a Regional Director of Operations to lead a high-profile portfolio within a premier financial services environment, overseeing operational excellence, client partnerships, financial performance, and team development across multiple locations.

You will provide strategic direction to Unit Directors and operational leaders while ensuring alignment with regional and corporate objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Foodservice Management, or related field.
Experience leading multi-unit foodservice, hospitality, corporate dining, or workplace experience operations.
Experience overseeing a portfolio with significant financial accountability, preferably $55 million or greater in managed volume.
Success leading multiple locations and teams within a complex operating environment.
Experience managing six or more management-level leaders.
Demonstrated financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and labor planning.
Strong client relationship management skills with a track record of retaining and growing business partnerships.
Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
Experience coaching and developing leaders to support engagement, performance, and succession planning.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall operational, financial, and strategic performance of the region.
Coach, support, and develop Unit Directors and management teams to achieve operational and financial goals.
Establish clear priorities and create alignment around regional strategies and business objectives.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, labor, forecasting, and profitability.
Ensure compliance with corporate standards, contractual commitments, and operational best practices.
Develop and implement initiatives that enhance workplace hospitality, foodservice quality, and overall guest experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, serving as a trusted business partner.
Support client retention efforts and participate in presentations, proposals, and growth initiatives.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, elevate service delivery, and drive sustainable growth.
Resolve escalated client, employee, or operational concerns with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
Partner with Human Resources and other support functions on employee relations, talent development, and organizational needs.
Conduct regular business reviews, site visits, and performance evaluations.
Create a culture centered on accountability, inclusion, innovation, and exceptional service.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of operational, financial, and corporate reporting requirements.

Job Summary

As a Regional Operations Director, you will lead a high-profile portfolio within a premier financial services environment, overseeing operational excellence, client partnerships, financial performance, and team development across multiple locations. You will provide strategic direction to Unit Directors and operational leaders while ensuring alignment with regional and corporate objectives. This role oversees a portfolio with approximately $55 million in managed volume, supporting five locations in New York City and partnering with additional operations across the United States and Montreal. The Regional Operations Director plays a critical role in driving profitability, enhancing the client experience, developing talent, and supporting continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities
