$140000 - $160000 per year | Hartford, CT | On-site | Permanent
A rapidly growing, field service organization is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to help lead and scale its expanding network of locations.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position working closely with executive leadership to strengthen branch performance, integrate newly added locations, standardize operating processes, and build the infrastructure needed to support continued growth.
This is not a traditional desk-based regional leadership role. The Regional Director will spend significant time in the field working directly with Branch Managers, Service Managers, technicians, and local teams.
The right person understands commercial door and dock operations, knows how a profitable service organization should run, and is comfortable stepping into a branch, identifying problems, and helping the team solve them.
You are equally comfortable reviewing branch financials with senior leadership and walking through a service operation with technicians.
You understand that improving operations requires more than creating procedures. You need to earn the trust of the people performing the work, understand why problems are happening, implement practical solutions, and make sure those improvements last.
You enjoy building structure in growing organizations and aren't intimidated by locations that may still rely on manual processes, tribal knowledge, or different ways of doing things.
Most importantly, you want to be in the field. You enjoy visiting locations, solving operational problems, developing leaders, and seeing the direct impact of your work.
This organization is entering a significant stage of expansion, creating an opportunity to help shape how a growing regional platform operates.
Rather than inheriting a finished corporate playbook, you'll have the opportunity to help build it.
As the organization continues expanding, this position has the potential to grow significantly in scope and responsibility.
