Job summary

Gentiva in Florida seeks a Regional Director of Operational Excellence to drive branch operations, onboarding, and quality care delivery. This role partners with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure regulatory readiness and adherence to high standards across the state.

The position requires RN licensure, extensive hospice leadership experience, and regular travel across Florida to support inspections, education, and process improvement. Reports to the VP of Operations.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of residence.
• Minimum of five years’ operations or leadership experience, with at least three in hospice.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor and mentor to branch leaders, ensuring alignment with operational and clinical standards.
• Provide onboarding and coaching to new leaders and support retention.
• Conduct on-site visits and audits to identify education, training, and process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with leadership to promote clinical compliance, high-quality patient care, and staff engagement.
• Coordinate with regional leaders and corporate staff to implement operational best practices.
• Support readiness for inspections, licensure, and accreditation surveys.
• Lead hospice quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities.
• Track in-service training compliance and support professional development across the region.
