Camp Construction Services in Anaheim, CA seeks a Regional Director of Construction to oversee multi-family projects regionally, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence. This senior leader will manage multiple branches, mentor managers, and build strong client relationships to ensure delivery of high-quality projects on time and within scope.

The role requires 10+ years in multi-family construction, 3+ years in leadership, and a degree in Construction Management;

• Extensive network of trade level subcontractors across the coverage region.

Regional Director of Construction

Operations Full Time Operations Anaheim, CA, US

Salary Range: $250,000.00 To $275,000.00 Annually

Position Summary

The Regional Vice President (RVP) for Multi-Family Construction will oversee and manage multiple branch offices within a specified geographic region, ensuring that all projects and operations align with the company's strategic objectives and meet or exceed performance expectations. The RVP will be responsible for driving revenue growth, maintaining profitability, and optimizing the operational efficiency of each branch under their supervision. This senior leadership role demands a comprehensive understanding of multi-family construction processes, an ability to manage diverse teams, and a focus on building and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals, align with corporate objectives, and maximize market share.


• Partner closely with Regional and National Sales to ensure alignment on strategic partnerships.


• Monitor the day-to-day activities of multiple branches, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Partner closely with General Managers to improve day-to-day operations, driving standardized and scalable processes. Establish and monitor KPIs that drive operational excellence.


• Oversee financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management, to ensure regional profitability.


• Lead, mentor, and develop branch managers and project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Build a talent pipeline through coaching and mentoring of the broader team.


• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and key stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and foster long-term partnerships.


• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects meet or exceed company quality standards, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.


• Risk Management: Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, including financial, operational, and safety risks.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, & Experience

• Must have 10+ years multi-family restoration/construction experience


• Must have 3+years of experience as a people leader


• Preferred – Bachelor's degree in Construction Management


• Extensive network of trade level subcontractors across the coverage region


• Ability to thrive in a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial, time-sensitive, collaborative environment. Prior leadership experience ideally in a high growth VC- or PE-backed environment preferred.


• Experience effectively communicating and creating alignment across different levels of the organization


• Knowledge of and experience in cost containment and risk management


• Highly competent in Microsoft Office skills


• Strong problem-solving skills


• Extensive knowledge in construction costs


• Strong organizational and time management skills


• Excellent ability to prioritize, plan, and manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time


• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders


• Possess excellent attention to detail


• Ability to make sound decisions that positively affect project and profit outcomes


• Ability to work independently as a self-starter


• Must be able to work on-site at an office or jobsite as needed


• Must be able to travel regionally or nationally as needed, approximately 50% of the time


• Must be able to work overtime as needed to ensure job success


• Must have a satisfactory driving record per insurance requirements
