Job summary

Community Clinic in Arkansas is seeking a Director of Operations to lead a regional network of primary care clinics. This role drives performance, growth, and day-to-day operations while ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and financial success.

The Director partners with physicians, clinic leadership, and executive teams to implement strategic initiatives, enhance access to care, and expand service lines aligned with community needs and value-based care goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of multi-site clinic management experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing budgets, and improving operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a region of primary care clinics to meet organizational goals, standards, quality targets and financial targets.
• Direct, coach, and develop Practice Managers for accountability and growth.
• Collaborate with physicians, providers and executives to implement operational strategies that support patient-centered care and growth.
• Promote a culture of service excellence, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the region.
• Lead change initiatives by setting expectations and rolling out new programs with leadership support.
• Grow market presence by identifying growth opportunities and expanding service lines that fit priorities and community needs.
• Build relationships with employers, health systems, payers, physicians, and community organizations to raise visibility and trust.
• Improve patient access and experience, grow provider panels, and lead community outreach efforts.
• Partner with hospitals, specialists, and community resources to ensure coordinated, whole-person care.
• Represent the organization in the community to reinforce its reputation as a preferred primary care provider.
• Track regional market trends, competitor activity, and demographics to support sustainable growth.
• Oversee clinic performance, patient access, staffing, scheduling, workflows, regulatory compliance and quality improvement.
• Manage regional operating budgets, financial performance and KPIs; implement action plans to meet goals.
• Use data to evaluate clinics, identify areas for improvement, and deliver measurable results.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment, onboarding, retention, and performance management.
