Job summary

BBYO seeks a Regional Director to join its Manhattan team, focusing on growing membership, training teen leaders, and deepening community support for teens across Manhattan and the Bronx.

You will develop regional strategy, expand BBYO's NYC presence, and coach leaders through key leadership skills and event management. The role includes coordinating summer camp leadership programs and overseeing volunteer advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• 3–5 years of experience in youth development or nonprofit work preferred.
• Experience working with youth or teens preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Manhattan and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop regional vision and strategy to drive membership growth and strengthen chapters.
• Expand BBYO's presence across NYC through partnerships and city-wide initiatives.
• Plan and execute high-impact programs and two annual overnight conventions.
• Coach teen leaders through conflict resolution and project management.
• Recruit, train, place, and support volunteer advisors with ongoing guidance.
• Lead teen leadership programs at summer camp.
