Job summary

Koya Medical, Inc. is seeking a Regional Director for Market Access & Payer Strategy to drive regional payer engagement, expand medical policy coverage, and accelerate reimbursement pathways in the Eastern US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, business, or related field
• 5+ years of successful experience in strategic healthcare account management, managed care contracting, or healthcare business development
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Hunter mentality with strong commercial instincts
• Ability to operate independently with ownership and accountability

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop regional payer access opportunities across commercial and Medicaid managed care organizations
• Build and expand relationships with payer medical directors, contracting executives, network leadership, and policy stakeholders
• Develop and execute payer engagement strategies from outreach through coverage, contracting and implementation
• Influence medical policy and reimbursement positioning decisions with payer leadership
• Partner with sales, reimbursement, clinical teams, marketing and executive leadership to translate payer dynamics into actionable strategy
