Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services Community: Domestic Foster Care & Adoption in Lubbock, TX seeks a Regional Director to oversee operations, drive program development, and ensure compliance with state licensing and federal regulations. This leadership role guides staff, budgets and strategic planning across multiple locations.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor degree in social work or related field, 5+ years in foster care/adoption with supervisory experience, and a Texas Child

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in social work or a related field is required.
• Master’s Degree in Social Services or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in domestic foster care/adoption services.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory responsibilities.
• Must hold and maintain a Texas Child Placing Agency Administrator license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead operations of Domestic Foster Care and Adoption locations.
• Analyze program needs and develop, modify, implement and monitor programs.
• Audit charts and ensure compliance with TDFPS and YFT standards.
• Screen and license potential foster/adoptive parents; approve home studies.
• Develop budgets and supervise financial activities for assigned locations.
• Provide training for foster/adoptive parents and staff.
