Job summary

Cursor is seeking a Regional Director, Forward Deployed Engineering to lead and scale a high-impact team serving strategic enterprise accounts in the United States. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with executive stakeholder management to ensure fast, high-quality delivery and strong customer relationships.

You will coach engineers, drive scoping accuracy, and develop reusable playbooks while expanding partner channels to extend the FDE motion.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading technical teams that build and ship in production.
• Experience in enterprise technology projects and managing multi-stakeholder engagements.
• Ability to scope and deliver complex AI/ML workflows in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team of Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) across strategic enterprise accounts.
• Own delivery quality: scoping, milestones, and skilled handoffs to customer teams.
• Build playbooks and enable partner FDE tracks to extend velocity at scale.
