Job summary

Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey is seeking a full-time Regional Director of Clinical Services to oversee nursing services across Skilled, Hospice, and PACE. The ideal candidate will have substantial nursing management experience and exhibit strong leadership skills to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and improve patient care.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Nursing Management and policy development.
  • Minimum of 3 years as a Director of Nursing in skilled nursing.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, directs, and evaluates clinical services.
  • Reviews and makes recommendations for clinical policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations.

We have a new opportunity for a full-time Regional Director of Clinical Services!

This position will support our nursing services in Skilled, Hospice and PACE.

Plans, develops, directs and evaluates clinical services. Develops, reviews and/or makes recommendations for the revision of clinical policies and procedures, and guidelines in collaboration with the COO, Executive Directors and Directors of Nursing. Ensures clinical policies and procedures are in compliance with Federal, State, local regulations and acceptable standards of practice.

Education/Training/Certifications: Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required. NJ license required. NJ & PA license preferred.

Skills: Strong interpersonal skills that provide for building collaborative and collegial professional relationships across LSMNJ. Excellent verbal and written skills. Strong administrative, managerial, organizational and clinical skills. Skilled in needs assessment, planning, establishing priorities and delegating tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State and local regulations for long term care, Assisted Living, Living Independently for Elders (LIFE) and community residential living. Demonstrated knowledge of standards of care and best practices. Skilled in clinical policy and procedure development, infection prevention and control, continuous quality improvement, regulatory compliance, risk management and safety. Dedication in collaborating with the healthcare team in the planning, developing, implementing and evaluating of clinical services.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in Nursing Management, policy and procedure development and implementation. Knowledgeable about the Federal, State and local regulations for long term care, Assisted Living, Living Independently for Elders (LIFE) and community based residential living. Minimum of three years working as a Director of Nursing within a skilled nursing facility.
