Job summary

Millennium Physician Group is seeking a Director to lead Burden of Illness strategies, ensuring compliant clinical documentation and risk adjustment practices across physician networks. You will translate BOI goals into actionable programs using data trends to direct priorities and performance improvements.

You will collaborate with Risk Adjustment, Population Health, Practice Operations, and Quality leaders to coordinate initiatives, educate providers, and drive measurable, value-based care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Admin, Health Information Management, Public Health or equivalent; preferred.
• CRC or CPC certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Medicare Risk Adjustment, Burden of Illness, population health, or related healthcare operations.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience.
• Strong CMS-HCC risk adjustment knowledge and reporting.
• Experience with physician practices and provider leadership.
• Medicare Advantage/value-based care experience; ACO/risk-bearing arrangements preferred.
• Experience using healthcare data to identify opportunities and drive performance improvement.
• Experience with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Burden of Illness initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of CMS-HCC methodologies and regulatory changes.
• Monitor BOI indicators and performance.
• Identify patterns requiring intervention and educate providers.
• Establish BOI priorities for physician practices based on data.
• Develop scalable workflows integrating BOI activities into practice operations.
• Coordinate with leadership to align BOI initiatives with organizational priorities.
