Job summary

Mosaic Health, LLC seeks a Director of Burden of Illness Operations in Florida to lead strategies for accurate disease burden representation, compliant documentation, and risk adjustment programs across physician practices.

You will collaborate with Risk Adjustment, Population Health, Practice Operations, Quality, Finance and Analytics to translate BOI initiatives into scalable workflows, monitor performance, and deliver measurable value-based care improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or Health Information Management; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Active CRC or CPC certification strongly preferred.
• 7+ years in Medicare Risk Adjustment, Burden of Illness, healthcare analytics, or related operations.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage and value-based care; familiarity with ACO/risk-bearing models.
• Proven leadership for teams and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and subject matter expertise for organizational Burden of Illness initiatives.
• Monitor CMS-HCC methodologies, regulatory changes, and coding guidelines.
• Identify opportunities and drive performance improvements in documentation and coding.
• Develop scalable BOI workflows integrated into physician practice operations.
• Partner with RBE leadership and coordinate across clinical and operational teams.
