Job summary

Summit Property Management seeks a Regional Manager to lead a portfolio of multifamily communities in the Houston area. You will drive performance, implement turnaround plans, monitor budgets, and ensure accurate reporting to owners and asset managers.

The role requires strong leadership, a proven track record in collections and occupancy improvement, and the ability to travel within the region to support onsite teams and communities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of regional manager experience in the multi-family housing industry.
• Proven asset recovery and turnaround experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Finance, budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting.
• Willingness to travel regularly within assigned portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational performance to meet or exceed ownership/investor expectations.

• Collaborate with ownership and investors on strategy, financial goals, and capital improvements.

• ~ Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and investor reporting.
• ~ Customer service-focused, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with residents, staff, investors, and ownership groups.
• ~ Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar).
• ~ Ability to travel regularly within assigned portfolio.
