Job summary

Cedarhurst Living is seeking a Regional Dining Services Director to oversee Dining Services departments across multiple Cedarhurst communities. You will train, support, and supervise DSDs, ensuring food quality, presentation, safety, and budget performance, with travel across KS, NE, MO.

Board-level collaboration and pre-opening leadership are key. Responsibilities include quality assurance, health department compliance, site visits, and ongoing staff development for both new and tenured DSDs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Culinary or related field required.
• Three years of dining experience in a senior care community with leadership and organizational skills.
• ServSafe certification required.
• State licensure required for the role.
• Strong customer service and hospitality mindset essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Executive Directors with interviewing and screening for new DSDs.
• Train and coach Dining Services Directors on budgets, menus, and Cedarhurst programs.
• Supervise dining service departments across communities.
• Ensure Quality Assurance schedules and health guidelines are followed.
• Lead pre-opening dining setup and vendor coordination for new communities.
