Job summary

MediLodge is seeking a Regional Registered Dietitian to lead nutrition programs across eight facilities in the Sterling Heights and Port Huron area markets. This role collaborates with corporate and regional teams to maintain high-quality patient care and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

You will supervise dietitians and dietary managers, direct nutrition standards, menus, and Quality Indicators, and support survey readiness while advancing nutrition services region-wide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Dietetics and Nutrition.
• License or certification as mandated by the state in which employed.
• Experience in long-term care environment and geriatric nutrition preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate development and maintenance of the Diet Manual, Menus, Dietary capital equipment specifications, and Dietary Quality Indicators.
• Coordinate dietary services with other patient care services through ongoing communication with directors/managers.
• Review consultant reports, Quality Assurance, and survey results; recommend intervention and follow-up as needed.
• Ensure compliance with national and regional food vendor programs throughout the region.
