Job summary

Concerto Renal Services seeks Regional Support Nurses (Dialysis Nurse Float) to provide RN coverage across multiple markets. This salaried float role travels to cover vacancies, leaves, and emergencies, supervising dialysis care and ensuring care meets policy and regulatory standards.

You will work with the hemodialysis team, perform pre- and post-treatment assessments, document interventions, and coordinate with physicians to optimize patient care while maintaining EMR accuracy and DOT

Qualifications

• Active RN license and ability to obtain state dialysis credentials.
• Willingness to travel across assigned markets as needed.
• Experience with hemodialysis care and DOT policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to patients, families, staff, and physicians.
• Educate patients on renal disease and dialysis therapy.
• Delegate tasks to dialysis technicians to ensure safe delivery.
• Supervise dialysis technicians and ensure compliance with policies.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Manage lab specimens and DOT-compliant packaging.
• Coordinate with physicians to interpret and adjust care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Review lab results and report critical values.
• Complete patient assessments and care plans on schedule.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Maintain safe and efficient operations during shifts.
