Concerto Renal Services seeks Regional Support Nurses (Dialysis Nurse Float) to provide RN coverage across assigned markets. Travel as needed to cover vacancies or emergencies, supervise dialysis care, and coordinate with the healthcare team.

The role emphasizes hands-on patient care, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with physicians to maintain high-quality dialysis services in multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in dialysis or hemodialysis care preferred.
• Ability to provide patient education on renal disease and dialysis therapy.
• Experience supervising nurses or technicians.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN coverage across assigned markets as a float nurse.
• Travel to cover vacancies, leaves of absence, or emergencies.
• Supervise dialysis care per policy and regulatory standards.
• Delegate tasks to dialysis technicians for safe dialysis delivery.
• Provide, monitor, and supervise hemodialysis care per policies.
• Complete pre- and post-treatment assessments and document interventions.
• Ensure timely documentation by dialysis technicians.
• Collect and package lab specimens per DOT policies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Document physician orders, labs, medications, and treatment parameters in EMR.
• Review lab results and report critical values promptly.
• Complete patient assessments and care plans on time.
• Administer medications as prescribed with proper documentation.
• Maintain safe and efficient operations during shifts.
