Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Regional Design Engineering Manager for the West Region, based in the United States. The role leads design engineering resources across development, design, and construction for energy and facility projects, coordinating with sales and operations to ensure timely, compliant delivery.

You will guide staffing, quality control, and project strategy, while driving safety, efficiency, and customer-focused outcomes across multiple facilities in the region.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree required (mechanical, electrical or architectural).
• Professional Engineer registration (mechanical) preferred or required where applicable.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in design engineering project leadership.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, energy use, and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional design engineering resources across development, design, and construction phases.
• Coordinate with sales, project development, construction, and operations leaders on strategies.
• Manage project plans, budgets, and procurement strategies to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Mentor staff, review performance, and oversee HR processes related to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation and delivery.
