Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Regional Principal DCIM – Controls Build Quality Engineer (CBQE) to lead on-site quality for building management and control systems in data center construction. You will drive standardization, manage CSI performance, and act as owner’s escalation for controls issues.

The role demands a strong controls engineering and project-management background to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant BMS, EPMS, PLC, and SCADA implementations across projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in instrumentation and controls programming/installation, MEP coordination, project management, and commissioning for large buildings.
• 3+ years experience with programming/designing HVAC control systems and electrical power monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Experience with industrial automation and building management control systems (PLC/DDC).

Responsibilities

• Oversee System Integrator selection, evaluation, and performance across project phases.
• Lead BMS/C&I leads and contractors; manage commercial terms and audits.
• Coordinate and manage factory-installed controls audits and BMS commissioning audits.
• Facilitate large multi-stakeholder and cross-functional meetings to track status and risks.
• Ensure adherence to DIV25 specs and design deliverables.
• Perform inspections of BMS, PLC, and SCADA installations and commissioning.
