Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of its Regional Distribution Service Center in Fairfield, OH. This leadership role guides a team of ~28 associates across two shifts, ensuring safe, efficient receiving, processing, shipping, storing and delivering of flooring products throughout multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with logistics experience.
• Associate degree with 3+ years of logistics experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with 5–7 years of logistics management/supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RDC performance focusing on safety, customer experience, engagement and cost efficiency.
• Provide clear direction to associates across both shifts and remove barriers to daily execution.
• Coach and develop leadership teams to improve performance and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate daily with Sales and Customer Service to resolve customer exceptions while maintaining service standards.
• Report on facility performance to the Director of Regional Operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols.
• Motivate teams and implement process improvements to drive ownership and initiative.
• Expand Shaw Truck market by negotiating freight rates and securing new business.
