Job summary

Shaw Industries in Fairfield, OH, is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager to lead the Regional Distribution Center. You will guide a team of ~28 associates across two shifts, coordinating receiving, warehousing, shipping and delivery of flooring products throughout OH, IN, KY, and WV.

This role emphasizes safety, cost efficiency, and customer experience, with accountability to drive continuous improvement and collaborate with Sales and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with logistics experience as stated.
• Ability to coach and develop leadership teams to improve performance.
• Experience managing hourly associates and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RDC performance including safety, customer experience, engagement, and costs.
• Provide clear direction to associates across all shifts.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve customer issues.
• Report facility performance to Director of Regional Operations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain safe working environment and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Motivate and empower teams to meet facility goals and drive process improvements.
• Negotiate freight rates and expand Shaw Truck market presence.
• Optimize transportation equipment and personnel for timely deliveries.
