Job summary

Walmart Distribution Center in Laurens, SC is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, drive safety and efficiency, and develop future leaders within a high-volume environment. You will partner with the General Manager to execute business plans and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to coach and develop large teams while maintaining customer focus and operational

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 2+ years in a senior management role within operations/distribution/logistics.
• Experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload and hiring.
• Alternative: 2 years as Walmart Logistics Operations Manager with similar duties or 4 years in a senior ops role.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily DC operations to meet goals in productivity, quality, safety, and customer service.
