Job summary

Prime Data Centers seeks a Senior Data Center Security Manager to oversee physical security operations across multiple data center locations in the region. You will lead Security Managers, uphold policies, and coordinate with operations and facilities to ensure readiness and risk mitigation.

The role requires 8+ years in security, leadership across sites, and travel up to 40%. Knowledge of Genetec Security Center and compliance frameworks is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with relevant security experience.
• 8+ years of operational or physical security experience.
• 3+ years in security leadership roles.
• Experience managing security across multiple locations.
• Experience with incident response, investigations, risk assessments, and security systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% within the region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee physical security operations across multiple data center locations within the assigned region.
• Provide leadership and support to site Security Managers and teams.
• Ensure consistent security policies and SOPs across locations.
• Oversee access control, CCTV, alarms, perimeter security, and visitor management.
• Manage regional contract security operations including staffing and vendor performance.
• Lead investigations for significant security incidents and ensure corrective actions.
• Conduct security assessments and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with Operations, Facilities, Engineering, and Construction teams.
• Support new data center construction, expansions, and commissioning.
