Job summary

Prime Data Centers Corporation is seeking a Senior Data Center Security Manager to lead physical security operations across multiple data center locations within an assigned region. You will guide site Security Managers, enforce security standards, and manage regional vendors to protect personnel, customers, facilities, and critical infrastructure.

The role requires 8+ years in security with leadership, experience across multiple sites, and travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of physical security experience or Associate’s degree with 7+ years.
• Minimum 8 years of operational or physical security experience.
• 3+ years of security leadership experience.
• Experience managing security operations across multiple locations.
• Experience managing security vendors, contractors, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Strong experience with incident response, investigations, risk assessments, and physical security systems.
• Ability to travel up to 40% within the assigned region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee physical security operations across multiple data center locations within the assigned region.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to site Security Managers and security teams.
• Ensure consistent implementation of security policies, standards, post orders, and SOPs across all assigned locations.
• Oversee access control, CCTV, alarm systems, perimeter security, visitor management, and other physical security systems.
• Manage regional contract security operations, including staffing, training, vendor performance, and corrective actions.
• Lead response and investigations for significant security incidents and ensure appropriate documentation and corrective actions.
• Conduct security assessments and identify risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Partner with Operations, Facilities, Engineering, Construction, and other teams to support security requirements and operational readiness.
• Support new data center construction, expansions, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain relationships with local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other emergency response organizations.
• Support customer security requirements, audits, and assessments.
• Track regional security performance, incidents, staffing, projects, and key security metrics.
• Provide regular updates to the Director of Physical Security regarding regional risks, incidents, and operational performance.
