Job summary

DataBank is seeking a Coastal Regional Director, Data Center to oversee the operations of multiple data centers across a geographic region in the United States. The role emphasizes leadership of 3–5 Data Center Managers or Lead Technicians, ensuring uptime, safety, and adherence to SOC/SSAE-18 and other certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.
• 5 years experience managing Data Center Technicians.
• Fantastic written and verbal communication.
• Strong understanding of all data center components including HVAC, UPS, servers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple Data Center Managers (3-5) and Lead Data Center Technicians.
• Track KPIs and metrics for Operations teams.
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with data center standards.
• Plan staffing, training and budgets across regional centers.
• Oversee maintenance, PM schedules, and vendor performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
