Job summary

Amazon seeks exceptional leaders for a strategic senior management position overseeing data center operations. This executive role directs a large organizational structure and ensures operational excellence across multiple data center locations, with a focus on 24/7 reliability and mission-critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

5+ years of people management and team development experience.
5+ years of engineering work managing large-scale services experience.
Experience operating a mission-critical team or product.
Experience maintaining SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple data centers within a region, ensuring 24/7 operational reliability.
Develop and implement SOPs for cluster operations.
Manage a team of data center facility managers, chief engineers, and technicians.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams on maintenance, upgrades, and expansion projects.
Monitor and optimize PUE and other key performance metrics.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across cluster operations.
Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards.
