Job summary

QTS Realty Trust seeks a Manager of Facilities Operations Engineering Commissioning to oversee commissioning, improvement, and developmental support for sites across the U.S. You will lead Cx teams, coordinate electrical/mechanical systems, and ensure testing and safety standards during regional deployments.

The role requires extensive knowledge of data center infrastructure, project leadership, and a proactive, collaborative approach with site teams and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related equivalent.
• Five+ years of direct engineering-related experience in technical/critical environments (data centers, nuclear/electric power, hospitals, pharma, etc.).
• Experience directing commissioning activities and leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage regional commissioning teams and develop capabilities.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.
• Oversee travel budgets and coordinate with project departments.
• Witness testing and validate documentation and sequences of operations.
• Lead continuous improvement and standardize procedures across sites.
