Job summary

The US/CA Customs Compliance Region Leader at Wabtec is responsible for shaping and enforcing the customs compliance strategy across the enterprise for importers and exporters of record. You will lead the implementation of enterprise standards, partner with global teams, and drive timely regulatory change communication while mentoring staff and ensuring accurate region metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years in customs compliance with people leadership.
• Licensed Customs Broker or equivalent certification.
• Deep knowledge of US/CA customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with US/CA region customs and trade laws and regulations.
• Operationalize and enforce the Customs Compliance Enterprise Standard requirements.
• Establish and maintain local standard work processes aligned with enterprise standards.
• Drive compliance program disciplines and timelines.
• Oversee responses to customs-related government inquiries.
• Lead issue resolution for trade compliance in the region.
• Communicate regulatory changes to affected business units in a timely manner.
