Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Regional CT Manager in Tampa, FL to oversee operational, quality assurance, and staff development across multiple outpatient imaging centers. The role leads a regional cardiac CT program, drives protocol standardization, and ensures safety, accreditation readiness, and efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate brings CT imaging leadership experience, ARRT/NMTCB CPR certification, and strong analytics, with a focus on continuous improvement and staff mentorship in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience is required.
• At minimum CT certification from ARRT or NMTCB CPR Certification is required.
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable.
• 2+ years of leadership in CT or imaging role.
• Must be self-motivated and promote a positive work environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Role includes promoting staff skill development and change management.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services efficiently and professionally, ensuring confidentiality and personalized attention.
• Oversee technical staff, equipment performance, safety, and readiness standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage a regional cardiac CT program with protocol standardization.
• Lead hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, HR, Site Managers, and Leadership to ensure alignment and accreditation readiness.
• Ensure proper scheduling of exams and workflow, and manage supplies and costs.
• Monitor patient care quality and engage with radiologists and case managers as needed.
