Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Regional CT Manager to oversee CT imaging operations across Tampa-area locations. You will manage technical staff, ensure safety and image quality, and lead the development of a regional cardiac CT program in collaboration with site leaders and HR.

Responsibilities include staff development, protocol standardization, accreditation support, and fiscal oversight of staffing and supplies to drive profitability while maintaining exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience required.
• CT certification from ARRT or NMTCB required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable.
• 2+ years of leadership in CT or imaging role.
• Self-motivation and ability to foster a positive work environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services efficiently and professionally while maintaining confidentiality and patient care focus.
• Maintain visibility with site personnel, technologists, radiologists, service vendors and cross-site leadership; assist with hiring and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with clinical accreditation requirements and timely submissions; investigate issues to prevent downtime.
• Collaborate with Clinical leadership and Radiologists to keep protocols current and quality high.
• Lead site huddles, annual education events, and cross-functional coordination.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and supply spend; support profitability targets.
