Job summary

Akumin is hiring a Chief Technologist for Elite Radiology facilities. This is a full-time leadership role overseeing daily imaging operations and coordinating team performance to maintain high patient care and image quality.

The role includes staffing, evaluating team members, and ensuring compliance across MRI, CT, PET, ultrasound, and Mammography services while supporting multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and radiology certificate or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of scanning experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
• State licensure in modalities supported.
• Valid driver’s license where applicable.
• Credentials for MRI/CT/PET/Ultrasound/Mammography as required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scanning technologist and provide imaging services when needed.
• Create and distribute Team Member schedules; approve timecards.
• Hire, manage performance, and conduct assessments.
• Oversee multiple imaging modalities and ensure quality.
• Act as liaison for escalations with customers and ops leadership.
