Job summary

Garrison is seeking a Regional Counsel to act as the primary legal advisor for North America for a private equity-backed global software company in Reston, VA. This role entails leading complex SaaS and enterprise software transactions and partnering closely with senior commercial leadership.

You will serve as the sole attorney supporting NA operations, negotiating sophisticated agreements, advising on privacy/AI issues, and collaborating with colleagues across a worldwide legal team to shape

Qualifications

• 7+ years of combined law firm and/or in-house experience.
• Strong business judgment and ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
• Familiarity with privacy, AI, information security, or related regulatory matters; M&A experience is a plus.
• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Lead negotiations involving SaaS, software licensing, subscriptions, professional services, and partnerships.
