Job summary

VitalEdge Technologies, a global SaaS provider headquartered in Cary, NC, seeks an Associate General Counsel to align legal strategy with rapid growth. Reporting to the CFO, you will shape privacy, IP, and regulatory programs while partnering with Product, Engineering, and Finance.

The role requires 8–10 years in-house experience, JD, bar admission, and a track record in SaaS or cloud tech. On-site in Cary, NC or Greater Boston area; you’ll lead cross-functional risk management and support

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active U.S. Bar.
• 8–10 years of legal experience in-house with SaaS/tech.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and strategic growth.
• Global operations and M&A experience preferred.
• Strong privacy, data protection, IP, and AI governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Advise SLT on legal, regulatory, governance, and business risk.
• Lead global privacy, data protection, and AI governance programs.
• Guide IP strategy and data asset management with Product and Engineering.
• Design enterprise compliance across privacy, cybersecurity, employment.
• Oversee M&A due diligence and integration planning.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to manage risk.
