Job summary

Unknown Company is seeking a Regional Controller for our client, a $200M private-equity owned industrial services group. The role oversees regional accounting and leads integration of acquisitions in a fully remote capacity with occasional travel.

The position leads monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, ensures GAAP financial statements and reconciliations are accurate, and works with auditors to maintain strong internal controls. Experience with ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Public accounting experience is required.
• CPA highly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience leading multi-entity or multi-site organizations.
• Private equity experience is a plus.
• ERP implementations or system migrations; Acumatica experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for the region.

• Provide accounting oversight for revenue recognition, inventory, accruals, fixed assets, reserves, and other significant balance sheet accounts.
• Work with external auditors for the annual audit, overseeing internal controls and PBC schedules.
• Oversee state and local tax compliance, including sales and use tax, business licenses, personal property, gross receipts, and other applicable filings and obligations.
• Lead the accounting and finance integration of new acquisitions and serve as the finance lead for ERP implementations.
• Manage a small staff and continue to build a team as the company grows.
