Job summary

Pinnacle Golf Properties, based in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Regional Controller to lead accounting operations for a growing portfolio of golf properties. This role reports to the corporate accounting team and collaborates with General Managers and operations leadership.

The ideal candidate has strong multi-unit accounting experience, a background in hospitality or golf, and proven proficiency with Excel and accounting software. This position offers growth and impact across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Multi-unit accounting or regional oversight experience preferred.
• Hospitality, golf, club, or service industry experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, and general accounting software systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations for assigned golf properties and maintain financial reporting.
• Review monthly statements and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support General Managers with financial reporting and decision making.
• Maintain controls, procedures, and reporting consistency.
• Coordinate audits, tax reporting, and other financial projects.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
