Regional Controller – Multi-Location Finance Leader

Job summary

Lindgren Landscape in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Regional Controller to lead financial operations across multiple locations. This hands-on role partners with the CFO to ensure accurate GAAP reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable processes that support growth.

You will oversee month-end closes, budgeting, cash flow management, and consolidated reporting, while mentoring accounting staff and collaborating with leaders across the company on strategic financial decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Experience overseeing the full accounting cycle and month-end close process.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple locations, business units, or legal entities is preferred.
• Experience supporting external audits and working with outside accountants and tax advisors.
• Previous experience in construction, landscaping, manufacturing, private equity, or other project-based or multi-entity industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee accounting operations across locations.
• Oversee accounting activities at locations to ensure transactions are recorded and supported.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting transactions.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting across all entities.
• Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
• Lead consolidation and external reporting when applicable.
• Develop standardized reporting packages for leadership and management.
• Provide financial analysis to inform executive decisions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial initiatives.
• Assist leadership with evaluating business opportunities and capital investments.
