Job summary

ARCO National Holdings seeks a skilled Superintendent to run California projects. You will lead teams, manage preconstruction planning, and coordinate subcontractors to meet timelines and budget.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, cost tracking, and safety enforcement while maintaining strong client relations. This role requires travel along the California coast and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of experience as Lead Superintendent.
• Willing to travel throughout Irvine, California and the Pacific Coast.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel).
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams, resolve conflicts, and direct work to meet schedules.
• Develop construction schedules with project manager, sequencing and manpower planning.
• Oversee work to ensure it meets specs, stays on schedule, and achieves target profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities within project timelines.
• Prepare job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, POs, invoices, and key project documents.
• Maintain communication with project manager on progress and issues affecting costs/schedules.
• Complete daily reports with key project details and client interactions.
• Enforce safety program adherence across all project phases.
• Lead with integrity and uphold ARCO values.
