Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Regional Construction Manager to lead a team across NA Startup Engineering Risk Management, overseeing complex cross-functional construction projects for sortation and distribution facilities.

You will coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, define priorities, manage schedules, risks, and handover to operations, while traveling up to 50% and working from corporate offices when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience as an Engineer, Construction Manager, Architect, or in a related construction discipline.
• 7+ years of project and program management experience spanning design phase through construction completion and operational handover.
• 7+ years of experience negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage lifecycle of challenging construction projects and own delivery objectives.
• Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders and external vendors to set milestones and drive schedules.
• Lead execution efforts for systems and equipment designs to meet standards and guidelines.
• Communicate project status, risk analysis and mitigation plans to leadership.
