Job summary

Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families in Tacoma, WA seeks a Multi Systems & Complex Placement Program Manager (SHPC4) to lead complex placements and kinship initiatives across Region 5. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, health/social science, public administration, or related field (5 years in relevant work for SHPC4).
• Master's degree in related field (4 years relevant experience).
• Equivalent 9 years progressively responsible experience in family/child social services.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex placement staffing and prioritize kinship placements.
• Track and address complex placements to remove barriers to stability.
• Represent Region 5 in statewide meetings and manage monthly reports.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work, a health or social science, public administration, or a related field

Master's degree in social work, a health or social science, public administration, or a related field

Equivalent professional experience totaling nine years in planning, administering, developing, supervising, or delivering family and child-related social services
