Huntington Bank is seeking a Regional Communications, Associate Director to craft and drive strategic plans for select regions, guiding messaging and aligning with enterprise initiatives. The role leads regional communications programs, engages external stakeholders, and shapes executive presence across markets.

Responsibilities include developing briefs and talking points, securing regional media coverage, and coaching executives for media opportunities.

Qualifications

10+ years of corporate communications experience.
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations or journalism.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; executive presence.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic communication plans for regions within Huntington Bank’s footprint.
Provide strategic leadership as the regional communications lead.
Secure regional news coverage and align messaging with enterprise initiatives.
Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Regional Marketing and other teams.
Draft, manage and distribute internal and external communications.
Develop briefs, executive summaries, talking points and FAQs.
Coordinate LinkedIn content strategies for regional executives.
Provide media training and executive communications coaching.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
