Job summary

Utica National Insurance Group is seeking a Commercial Lines Sales Manager to lead a field sales team and drive profitable growth across a defined region in the Atlanta or Charlotte metro areas.

You will translate corporate strategies into actionable field plans, coach and develop sales talent, strengthen agency relationships, and ensure growth, profitability, and retention objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive property and casualty insurance experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading sales, marketing, underwriting, agency management, or distribution teams.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, agency operations, and distribution strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of field sales representatives.
• Translate corporate strategies into actionable field plans and territory reviews.
• Coach and onboard talent; recruit, onboard, and retain top sales performers.
• Monitor regional performance metrics: new business, retention, profitability, and agency production.
• Strengthen agency partnerships and manage complex agency opportunities.
