Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Regional Business Director to lead commercial activities for a designated geography, build a team of Account Managers, and drive promotion of SYMBRAVO, an oral acute migraine medication.

The RBD will oversee a sophisticated, digitally enabled field organization and own regional sales results. The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, field execution, and a strategic expansion of our migraine franchise with travel as needed to maximize engagement with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Minimum 5 years of field leadership or payer account management with increasing responsibility.
• Pharma/biotech marketing or sales experience preferred with 1st line leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations of the Region including hiring, coaching, account manager development, performance management, and priority accounts.
• Develop and implement strategic regional plans balancing live and virtual interactions and prioritize efforts.
• Plan, organize and drive performance to achieve regional business potential through coaching and influence of direct reports.
• Establish and maintain effective communication among Region members across cross-channel stakeholders in Accounts and Market Access teams.
• Maintain expertise to answer questions on products, marketing, policies, and business issues for customers and account managers.
• Coach SAMs to improve selling skills, account management, and product knowledge; lead by example in live and virtual engagements.
• Lead plan-of-action meetings with Region and Market Access teams; ensure alignment with regional and national goals.
• Develop Region business plan, manage Region budget and overall responsibility for P&A at Region level.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, and processes; travel as needed.
• Must live within the territory and manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
