Job summary
August Healthcare in North Carolina seeks a Regional Clinical Coordinator to provide clinical oversight and regulatory guidance across skilled nursing facilities. Qualifications
- Must possess RN license in NC in good standing.
- Experience leading nursing/long-term care teams (Unit Manager, Nursing Supervisor, DON) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CMS/state regulations and survey processes.
- Experience with QA, regulatory compliance, and clinical systems management.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight, audits, and surveillance across facilities.
- Educate and monitor CMS compliance; participate in mock surveys and QA reviews.
- Mentor nursing leadership and clinical staff; validate competencies.
- Monitor infection control, med mgmt, and resident care practices; report trends.
- Travel to assigned facilities ~4 days/week; coordinate with VP and facility leadership.
