Sweetwater Care is seeking an experienced Clinical Resource Nurse (RN) in California to partner with clinical leaders and resources for multiple facilities in the Central Valley region. The role focuses on clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and staff development across sites.
Ideal candidate has at least four years as DON in skilled nursing and two years as a clinical resource, with willingness to travel extensively and reside near assigned facilities to provide hands-on guidance.
Sweetwater Care, a skilled nursing facilitator with ten facilites in Central Valley and Tulare area, is seeking an experienced Clinical Resource Nurse, licensed as an RN in California who will partner with our current clinical resources and clinical leaders for our facilities in the area to enhance an atmophere where excellent resident outcomes are the focus. The ideal candidate must possess at least four years of experience as a Director of Nursing for Skilled Nursing Care facilities, and a mimimum of two years as a Clinical Resource or like postion. Any applicant should have a strong understanding of CMS and CDPH regulatory requirements, possess the capacity to lead staff and be willing to travel amongst the assigned facilities, as well as out of state, on a frequent basis.
The primary purpose of your job position is to steward a small ratio of facilities, and coach the Directors of Nursing in your region toward clinical, cultural, and financial excellence through intentional leadership. You will guide the teams to care for their residents and staff not only to meet the regulatory requirements but assist to refine processes that help the teams become the best care givers they can be. This job will require constant presence in the facilities and will not be remote. Any canidate will need to live in close proximiy to the facilites they support.
A Clinical Resource is responsible for the oversight of clinical operations for assigned skilled nursing facilities. This role works collaboratively with facility clinical leadership teams, and other resource services team members to ensure the delivery of quality care and regulatory compliance. The Clinical Resource acts as the primary resource for training, monitoring and coaching facility Directors of Nursing and Nursing Department managers. This role also assists such facilities during annual and complaint surveys as well as assisting with preparation and implementation of plans of correction. This role will work collaboratively with our outside consulting firms that are onsite regularly and Sweetwater’s Director of Clinical Services. This position will require extensive travel (75% of time) to our four facilities in Tulare, Visalia, and Porterville.
